The EP-1 came out in June last year, the EP-2 in November. I have thought that it was because the EP-1 wasn’t really finished when it was released, it was just something Olympus was “forced” to release before Panasonic stole their thunder with the GH1, and the EP-2 was what it was originally “supposed” to be. But if they are going to release a third m43 model soon, that means that the series is on an unprecedented sub-6 month release schedule.

It could also be the rumored (but never confirmed) “semiprofessional” m43 product line. If so, it means I once again don’t make even close to enough to get the hardware I really want…
